Tectan® – A sustainable solution
from 100% recycled resources
Tectan® is an innovative material made entirely from secondary raw materials – primarily paper. In a specially developed process, raw materials are first shredded, then dried, and finally processed into high-quality granulate.
Material
Tectan® is made exclusively from paper and polyolefins such as low-density polyethylene (LDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and polypropylene (PP). Depending on the specific product requirements, these materials are blended in a customized formulation. The paper fibers serve as stabilizers, enhancing the rigidity of the plastic matrix.

Thanks to the high content of paper fibers and a specially developed, product-specific process, Tectan® achieves mechanical properties that would otherwise require complex design solutions in conventional plastic products.
Production
At our facility, we manufacture Tectan® products using high-performance machinery that ensures maximum process reliability and efficiency.
The result: consistently high quality, reflected in the long-standing loyalty of our customers.

Tectan® is processed through injection molding into functional and durable products such as core plugs and edge protectors – resource-efficient, effective,
and sustainable.

Tectan® products are used multiple times, fully recycled, and returned to the production process.
Properties
Tectan® is a new material for use in injection moulding applications. The components of the material are paper and polyethylene.
